Bed size: Lipscomb publishes a different bed size for almost every hall, and several are not 80 in. Bison, Elam, Fanning and The Village are listed at 86 in by 38.5 in. Sewell is 79 in by 40 in. Johnson Hall differs within itself — 81 in on the suite side, 39 in by 78 in on the traditional side. High Rise gives no length. These are the numbers Lipscomb prints on its own hall pages; some are likely frame footprints rather than mattresses and Lipscomb never says which. Its residence life FAQ also says the new Johnson beds are regular twin, which Johnson’s own page contradicts. Measure before you buy anything.
